From voice to prompt

Your prompt appears after you stop.

VoicePipe supplies speech-to-text for prompt entry. It does not operate the coding agent or stream a response while you record.

  1. Record

Use your configured shortcut and say the natural-language instruction you want to enter.

  2. Stop

Release the hold shortcut or stop a toggle recording. VoicePipe does not produce live text while you speak.

  3. Transcribe locally

After recording ends, the selected speech-to-text model processes the audio on your Mac.

  4. Paste the finished text

VoicePipe uses the clipboard and paste to insert the original transcript, or optionally enhanced text, into the compatible field that remains focused.

What VoicePipe supplies

Your words, with optional local refinement.

By default, VoicePipe inserts the original transcript after local transcription. Optional local Transcript Enhancement can clean up or make a best-effort translation of the completed text before insertion. VoicePipe does not understand your codebase, add agent-specific syntax, or decide what the coding tool should do. Review important text before submitting it.

Two separate privacy boundaries

VoicePipe transcribes the recording locally and does not send it or the transcript to a cloud transcription service. If you paste or submit that text to a destination coding service, that service handles it under its own privacy and processing terms.

Compatible fields, not every field

VoicePipe inserts through the clipboard and paste. Secure fields, apps that block paste, or fields that lose focus may require a manual paste. No dedicated coding-agent integration is required or promised.
